The Fairy Blog Mother.

So if you've been here before, you might notice that things look a little different!  and by 'a little different', I'm sure you know that I mean 'a lotta awesome'!  I decided to change the design of my blog this week but didn't really know where to start.  Considering how much I enjoy blogging and how little I know about html (does it confuse anyone else?), I knew I was going to have to find a professional. 

 I asked another blogger if she had any suggestions of who to go to, and she suggested Thefairyblogmother.com.  I checked it out, saw how incredibly reasonable her rates were, and decided to give it a shot!  

I sent my first email on Wednesday at noon and had my new blog layout and design up and running by Thursday at midnight.  I don't know if this is how fast she usually works but wowza I was completely blown away by her efficiency!  The entire process impressed me.  Going into it, I really didn't have any idea what I wanted my blog to look like and Erika (the fairy blog mother herself!) completely lead the way.  I was so excited when I saw the first rough draft.  I. loved. it.  It had the right color scheme and the right feel.  The words 'vintage-y', 'feminine', and 'whimsical' are three words I used in our discussions to describe what I was going for, and I'd say she fully achieved a perfect balance of all three.  We had to do a few revisions, but she was completely flexible and patient with me as I figured out what was the best design for me. 

All that to say, if you are in the market for a beautiful blog revamp, I would definitely, absolutely, 100% recommend working with Erika from the Fairy Blog Mother.  It was such a good experience and I am finally finally finally incredibly happy with the look of my blog!
