The Birth Control Quest: Oh, baby!


So that whole Fertility Awareness Method/Natural Family planning thing?  

Oh, Baby!


Worked exquisitely!

This was our first month trying to get pregnant and we were successful!  If y'all thought I was a huge advocate for this method of family planning before, you can pretty much consider me the President of their nonexistent fan club now! We successfully avoided pregnancy for 8 months and achieved it in 1. We are so overwhelmingly humbled and thankful because we know that this simply is not the case for many couples.  We covet your prayers for the poppy-seed sized life that is growing within me!

    OMG!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so happy for you & I SWEAR I had a sixth sense about this! I was stalking your blog the other day and totally had a premonition that you were with child (what a funny saying). You're going to be the cutest mom ever.

    congrats leslie!!! charlie and i were also successful with natural family planning for about a year and a half before we got pregnant!! i'm a believer!! lol! hope you're feeling good, you're life is going to change in ways you have never even imagined (in a good, sleep deprived kind of way!) =)

    You look so happy! So maybe this will sound weird, but I don't care. When you wrote "life that is growing within me" I stopped on the word "me" and felt a little emotional and just pondered that for a moment. When I read that word, I felt an immense amount of love for "you". You, a beautiful, outgoing, gracious woman with a baby growing inside you.
