We Three.

"We Three."

Home.
Saturday night.
9pm.
Feeling empty.
Craving coffee.
(craving connection.)
Considering.
Doubting.
Deciding to try.
Hesitating.
Calling.
Two yes’?
TWO YES’!
Elevator.
Bus ride.
Two smiling faces.
Coffee, hot chocolate, italian soda.
Elevator.
Food court.
People.
A LOT of people.
McDonalds.
Empty table found.
Three seats filled.
Smiles.
Laughter.
Joy.
Transparency.
Walls crashing down.
More laughter.
Funny puns.
Even funnier puns.
Serious conversation.
Understanding.
Light conversation.
Understanding.
Joking.
Teasing.
Still laughing.
Hours passing.
Busy cafeteria emptying.
Chairs being stacked.
Clock nearing midnight.
Elevator.
Parking garage.
Little blue car.
Directions.
AIR CONDITIONING.
One smiling face leaving.
More driving.
Hearts spilling.
Little blue car pulling away.
Joy in heart.
Laughter still on lips.
Relishing.
Feeling restored.
Elevator.
Home.

  1. You know, I'd had it in my mind that we were going to talk heavy and serious the whole night... because the getaways are scant, you know? So we hurry up and cover the big subjects while we have a minute. And that's necessary and such a gift, but this night with you guys? And the laughing and the hours of just pure FUN? Such a gift too, my friend. Love you so much!
